The first verse of the Ofudesaki begins with:

Yorozuyo no sekai ichiretsu miharasedo

Mune no wakarita mono wa nai kara    1-1  (verify 17-17)

The first translation is the traditional translation and the 2^nd translation is word for word.

Looking all over the world and through all ages,

there is no one who understands my heart. Ofudesaki 1-1

Looking all over the world and through all ages,           

there is no one who understands the heart (soul). Ofudesaki 1-1

There is a big difference in meaning between God’s heart and heart (soul).
