Tenrikyo

The following is from the Mikagura-uta Song 9

Yama no naka demo achi kochi to,

Tenri-O no Tsutome suru

Koko de Tsutome o shite iredo,

mune no wakarita mono wa nai.

The first translation is the traditional translation by Tenrikyo Headquarters and the 2nd translation is word for word.

Even in the mountains, here and there

the Service is performed.

Though the service is done here,

there is no one who understands my heart.

Even in the mountains, here and there

the Service is performed.

Though the service is done here,

there is no one who understands the  heart/soul.

Again there is a big difference in meaning between my heart and the heart/soul.

My interpretation from the verse is that we need to spread God’s truth of the Soul/heart before our prayers are accepted by God. Again please feel free to comment. Thank you
