It is disturbing that there is so much violence, corruption, discrimination, wars, etc in this world. What do religions tell us about these conditions? In the Ofudesaki, God in the first verse of this sacred scripture tells us we do not understand the soul. What would happen if everyone in the world understood the soul? God tells us there will be peace and prosperity in the world.

What is the soul? Most people understand that because of the soul, we live after our physical bodies die, and go to heaven. But what would happen if our soul also descends back to earth from heaven to be reincarnated into any race, or gender. If we knew this, it would be difficult to discriminate against any race or gender.

But what does the soul do when in our physical bodies? It monitors our behavior, and eventually serve justice for our Behavior. Many time karma does not occur immediately, and may occur in the next life time as the right opportunity to manifest may not appear in this lifetime. When our physical body stops functioning the soul leaves with any unmanifested fates and their associated thoughts to the next destination. Therefore, when we are reborn, we do not get a fresh start. This is why suffering or joy appears in our lives, and why we have different thoughts, good or evil in our minds.

But now we know why suffering and joy appear in the world, we can prevent future suffering from not acting on our negative thoughts. But how do we remove our negative fates from our own soul, if present now? God tells us how to do this in the Ofudesaki.

この世界には多くの暴力、腐敗、差別、戦争などが存在していることは、憂慮すべきことです。これらの状況について、宗教は私たちに何を教えているのでしょうか。『おふでさき』というこの神聖な書物の冒頭で、神は私たちが魂を理解していないと説いています。もし世界中の人々が魂を理解したなら、どうなるでしょうか。神は、世界に平和と繁栄がもたらされると語っています。

魂とは何でしょうか。多くの人は、魂があるからこそ、私たちは肉体が死んだ後も生き続け、天国へ行くのだと理解しています。しかし、もし魂が天から再び地上へ降り、どの人種や性別にも生まれ変わるとしたらどうでしょうか。このことを理解していれば、どの人種や性別に対しても差別することは難しくなるでしょう。では、魂は私たちの肉体の中で何をしているのでしょうか。それは私たちの行いを見守り、やがてその行いに対する報い（正義）をもたらします。多くの場合、因果応報はすぐには現れず、この人生では現れる機会がないため、次の人生で現れることもあります。肉体の機能が止まると、魂はまだ現れていない運命やそれに伴う思いを携えて、次の行き先へ向かいます。したがって、私たちは生まれ変わっても、まったくの新しい出発をするわけではありません。これが、人生に苦しみや喜びが現れる理由であり、また私たちの心に善や悪のさまざまな思いが生じる理由でもあります。

しかし、苦しみや喜びがなぜこの世に現れるのかが分かれば、私たちは自分の否定的な思いに従って行動しないことで、将来の苦しみを防ぐことができます。では、もし今すでに自分の魂に否定的な因縁がある場合、それをどのように取り除けばよいのでしょうか。その方法を神は
