I am a viewer of the sermons that the Los Angeles Tenrikyo Headquarter provides on the internet. Their sermons are interesting , but they do not provides instructions on how to spread God’s teachings to the world. It is God that will help us spread the teachings by providing guidance to the people we have spread the teachings to. This path involves understanding our own soul, spreading the teachings of the soul, performing the Youki-tsutome, and finally performing the Osazuke to the people who return to our places of worship to heal their illness. This is the path to world salvation. When our minds are pure, we are saved. Only health and happiness will come from our own souls. This is the message the world needs to hear. I will conclude with the final three verses of the Ofudesaki, that is not translated correctly by Church Headquarters:
(sato sato ta oto) (ta oto byou sama) (byou sama) 17-73
discern discern do respond, do respond illness appearance, illness appearance 17-73
(kono hanashi) (aizu tateyai) (deta naraba)
(nani ni tsuitemo) (mina kono touri). 17-74
This talk, the signal establishing (by performing the Youki-tsutome), appeared if so,
by what attaches (of God’s guidance) also, all this truth (of what thoughts in one’s mind). 17-74
(kore oba na) (ichiretsu kokoro) (shiyan tanomu de). 17-75
This God now, everyone the mind, ponder (for negative thoughts) to request. 17-75
