What is the purpose of our religion? I see people on the internet showing pictures of their shrines, the main sanctuary, people performing the Services, and I see people visiting other Tenrikyo churches. These pictures and videos get many likes on their sites. But what is the purpose of posting these pictures? Does it spread the teachings that are in the Ofudesaki? What information if spread to the world will bring upon joy and health to everyone? Fortunately this information is in the Ofudesaki. We as a religion must get back to the basics of the teachings. God gives us the instructions in the Ofudesaki.
