Why does our religion not increase in the number of followers? We do not understand our special prayer, the Youki-tsutome.
Church leaders teach us that by performing this prayer, we are asking God to help us sweep away the negative thoughts from our minds. But is this the purpose of this prayer?
In the Ofudesaki, God already teaches us how to remove negative thoughts from our own minds. God teaches us to understand what kinds of fates come from our own souls, and not to blame other people or God for any inconvenience or suffering.
God teaches us to carefully think about our own minds, to look for whether there are negative thoughts, and not to act according to them. This is how we remove our negative thoughts.
Then, what is the purpose of performing the Youki-tsutome? And what are we praying for?
In the Ofudesaki, God teaches that this prayer is for saving other people. God teaches us to spread the teachings about the soul, pure mind, and God’s guidance to other people.
Because it is difficult for people to understand what we are conveying, God teaches that God will help us convince people of the teachings. Then, how does God do this?
God has given us the Youki-tsutome for this purpose. When God accepts our performance of this service, God will place illness as guidance upon the people to whom we have spread the teachings.
God places illness according to the amount and kind of negative thoughts in that person’s mind. The person will act upon those thoughts. As a result, negative fates are created, and that person’s own soul collects and stores them, and eventually they appear to that person as suffering.
God is showing that person what their future will be if they do not remove their negative thoughts.
If that person understands God’s guidance, they will come to our place of worship and try to have their illness healed through the Osazuke that we perform. Then they will also be given further teachings for making their own mind pure.
This is how the teachings spread throughout the world.
If we want to save the world, church leaders must understand the instructions in the Ofudesaki.
Let us spread the teachings to as many people as possible, perform these two special prayers (Youki-tsutome and Osazuke), and see what happens.
