WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND GOD

GOD DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN TO SAVE ALL MANKIND. BUT WE STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE HAS GIVEN US TO SAVE MANKIND.  HE HAS GIVEN US A SPECIAL PRAYER (JOYOUS SERVICE), WHICH ACCEPTED BY GOD WILL BRING PEOPLE TO OUR CHURCHES. YET MANY OF US IN OUR CHURCHES PLACE CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS OVER THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS PRAYER.  WHERE IS THIS CONCLUSION DERIVED FROM THAT THE CHURCH DOES NOT UNDERSTAND  GOD? THE INFORMATION TO SUPPORT THESE CONCLUSIONS ARE DERIVED FROM THE MOST SACRED BOOK, THE OFUDESAKI (BOOK OF PROPHECY). PLEASE READ THE BOOK  OF PROPHECY. WE NEED TO SHARE OUR SPECIAL RELIGION WITH THE WORLD!!!!

What causes suffering in this world? What causes illness? What causes tragedies? What causes natural disasters?  All these answers are in the Book of Prophecy (Fudesaki).  The solution to these problems are also contained in the Book of Prophecy.

INTRODUCTION:

GOD DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN TO SAVE ALL MANKIND AND HAS GIVEN US THE BOOK OF PROPHECY (FUDESAKI), WHICH CONTAINS THE INSTRUCTIONS TO SAVE ALL MANKIND.

GOD ASKS US TO UNDERSTAND CAUSALITY AND REINCARNATION; AND UNDERSTAND HOW THEY AFFECT OUR LIVES TODAY AND TOMORROW.  WE CREATE OUR FUTURE BY OUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS OF TODAY.

GOD ENCOURAGES US TO REMOVE EVIL (GREED, ARROGANCE, AND SELF LOVE) FROM OUR THOUGHTS AND BEHAVIORS. THIS WILL MAKE OUR MINDS SPIRITED, AND BY THE PRINCIPLE OF CAUSALITY BRING FORTH JOY  TO OURSELVES. BUT GOD TELLS US THAT TRUE JOY IS SHARED JOY. HOW DO WE SHARE JOY WITH OTHERS?

GOD HAS GIVEN US A SPECIAL PRAYER (JOYOUS SERVICE) WHICH ASKS GOD TO GUIDE PEOPLE TO US SO WE CAN TEACH THEM ABOUT CAUSALITY, AND HELP THEM SWEEP EVIL FROM THEIR MINDS.

OUR BELIEFS:

We believe in the law of causality and reincarnation. Good thoughts and actions result in joy.  Evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) thoughts and actions result in suffering and inconveniences in the future. Cause and effect have no time limitations. The effects of our actions may not develop until the next life.

With the acceptance of our special prayer (Joyous Service), God will begin to shorten the time lapse between the cause and effect, making the relationship easier to understand. That illness or suffering may be God informing you of the misuse of your mind. God gives you a glimpse of the future by this guidance. By pondering the illness and responding positively, one has the ability to create a joyous future.

OUR PATH:

To eliminate greed, arrogance, and self-love from our own minds, thus making our special prayer receptive to God.

To pray daily with our special prayer (Joyous Service), asking God to help spread the truth of causality to the world.

To heal the people whose minds have been revealed when God guides them to us; and teach them about causality and true sincerity. True sincerity is a mind that ponders over suffering and obstacles, and accepts these inconveniences in a joyous manner. This will by the principle of causality bring forth joy in the future.

GOD’S PROMISE:

All mankind will live a joyous life with everyone helping each other.

Science and Religion in Explaining Causality

I would like to associate religion with science in explaining causality (karma), and reincarnation.

I believe that each of us has a soul (heart) which is a positive energy source that connects or envelopes our minds (cerebral). Our soul (positive energy) attracts the negative energy of our thoughts. Each soul is surrounded by negative energies, which at times is released causing suffering or illness to the individual (karma or innen). Upon death, our soul separates from our minds, and ascends to heaven with these negative energies which it is surrounded by.  Eventually, our soul returns to earth with its negative energies, and connects with a developing mind (reincarnation).

We as humans have the ability to resist our negative thoughts (greed, arrogance, and self love) by using reasoning and understanding. By this process, our negative thoughts become less, and our souls become more pure. When the mind becomes pure, the soul is not covered by negative energy. When negative energy is gone, suffering and pain disappears. This is what God wants for all mankind.

Illness as God’s Love

God has created mankind to live a joyous life with everyone helping each other. But evils (greed, arrogance, and self love) have infected our minds, causing immediate and delayed suffering to the world. These evils like the germs that causes diseases, are easily transmitted from person to person.  God has descended from Heaven to save mankind.  What will God do?

There will be illness and disease inflicted on those who use their minds contrary to God’s mind.  These illness will be God’s blessing to mankind to show us that our actions and thoughts of today bring upon joy or suffering to ourselves in the future. God will begin to enter the evil and give them a glimpse of their future lives by these illnesses. Upon pondering of their illness, and reflecting on their mindset, they can themselves cure themselves. The acceptance of the principle of causality, or cause and effect will then surely change their behavior and thoughts from evil to good. This will insure that their future lives will be joyous.

Be forewarned those that cause sufferings to others by means of evil (greed, arrogance, and self love); God fears for your future lives.  God will begin to place illness on your bodies. God request you to change your thoughts from evil to good.  Illness as God’s guidance is also God’s blessing to save all mankind. We in the Heaven’s Truth Religion (Tenrikyo Church) have a prayer (Joyous Service) to request God’s blessing. Beware the evil people out there, because when God accepts our sincere prayers (Joyous Service), illness will certainly be placed on your bodies.  Beware again to those who are evil; doctors and medicines may not be able to heal you from God’s guidance or blessings.  Remove evil from your hearts today, because as more people pray (Joyous Service) for God’s blessing, the more God will place illness on the evil.  Remember it is from love that God places illness on your bodies. God worries about your future lives. Reflect on your future illness; it may be God guiding you!

The Soul is Who I am

The Soul is Who I am

The soul or the heart is said to be a nonphysical, positive, and everlasting energy source that serves the purpose of eliminating evil from our minds.  The soul is said to encompass the mind or is in close proximity to it.The soul is derived from the pure heart of God when mankind was created. We are a part of God.

The soul collects every negative thought that originates from the mind, and serves to eliminate these negative energies from the mind. The positive energy of the soul attracts the negative energies of these evil thoughts. The soul temporarily is the storehouse of our evil thoughts. It is like the sand that binds the waste in our sewer system, so that the waste can be eliminated, extracting the recyclable water. These negative energies surround the pure positive heart, and are eventually eliminated from the soul. But how does the soul eliminate our evil thoughts?

The soul may release these negative energies internally resulting in disease or illness to the body; or it may release them externally, resulting in suffering or inconvenience to oneself (boomerang Karma). The main purpose of the soul is then the removal of evil thoughts that originate in the mind. It serves to purify the mind.

What happens to the soul when our bodies cease to exist? The soul is said to detach from our minds and ascend to heaven. But it is not just the pure heart or soul that ascends; it is also the negative energies that surround the soul that also ascends to the heavens. We can never escape what we have done. We reap what we have sowed. Eventually the soul descends back to earth, attaching to a developing mind, beginning the process of purifying the mind again. Our mindset (the way we think) continues in our next lives. The soul is who we are.

We have previously said that the soul collects every evil thought and eventually eliminates them. Human being have been gifted the power to reason and understand. The other species in the animal specie lack this power. We have control of our thoughts and have free will. We have the ability to suppress and calm our minds of evil thoughts. We do not have to act upon our evil thoughts. But if we act upon these thoughts like arrogance, like speak ill of others, or have anger or hate, we tend to make the path easier to bring upon these evil thoughts. If we suppress these evil thoughts, the path becomes more difficult to bring upon these evil thought from our minds. We have the ability by free will to purify our minds of evil.

With the soul (heart) and our gift of reasoning and understanding, God has given us the ability to purify our minds, resulting in the eventual purification of our souls. With the purification of all the souls in the world, God promises us a world of joy.

Note : negative thoughts that originate in our minds are called dusts. These dust that are captured by the soul, and surround the soul are: arrogance, greed, self-love, miserliness, and covetousness.

Let Trump Speak

The recent events in the Trump presidential campaigns reveal the anger people have concerning the views of the opposition party. But freedom of speech is guaranteed under our constitution. These organizations that disrupt others from speaking are going against the fundamental law that our country was founded by. We must let others speak, even though their views may be opposite to ours. Why not leave them alone, and create our own rally with people of the same views.

But this opposition and anger it creates has a religious consequence. The founder of the Heaven’s Truth religion (Tenrikyo) once told a follower that sometimes we must back away when confronted with evil; because if we continue to argue, we also may become covered with evil. For example, in the Trump confrontation, both sides were covered with the dust of arrogance, with the emotion of anger manifested. The path of arrogance becomes contagious resulting in anger and hate on both sides, where at the beginning there was arrogance only from one faction. It may be wise from a religious point of view to voice our discontent, but not to hinder the free speech of others, even if it goes against our views of what is correct and true.

There is no one who is evil

What causes people to be evil or bad? Is it their childhood on how they were raised? Is it ingrained in their genes? How do we make evil people good? Is it possible?

We try to teach the inmates job skills in trying to keep them from returning to incarceration. So being employed, or having income prevents one from evil? If that is the case, we need to give good paying jobs to bad people.

Child services tries to take away children from abusive and derelict parents. So early negative experiences cause evil? Should we take away kids from evil people?

Mental hospitals use to remove part of the brain to treat disruptive behaviors. So genes cause evil? Would we ever go back to lobotomies to remove evil?

With all these theories on what causes evil, how do we deal with evil people? Presently and in the past, we have caught and imprisoned them, preventing them from contacting society. But how long can we continue to isolate the criminal from society?

In the Tip of the Writing Brush, it is stated:

Among all mankind, there is no one who is evil.

It is only a bit of dust stuck on them. 1-52

These dusts are greed, arrogance, and self-love. These are the paths of the mistaken mind. We cannot usually control the evil thoughts that originate in our minds, but we do have control of what actions or path we take upon the emergence of these evil thoughts. This is what separates humans from other animals.   If we can resist these evil thoughts and not carry them out, these thoughts usually become less frequent, and our minds are said to be more “God like”. We unlike our animal ancestors have the ability to control our thoughts or instincts. God has given us the ability to reason to choose between the animal like behaviors that causes sufferings and the God like actions that causes joy.

How to apologize to God

heaventruth's avatarOFUDESAKI-GOD'S TEACHINGS

It is said that God does not want us to apologize for our past indiscretions. He does not accept our apologies for our sins. It is our good behaviors when faced with the same temptations and adversities that God accepts as our apology. Actions speak more than words.

It is easy for us to apologize, and promise to be good. But when temptation arises, how difficult it is to keep our promise. When stress occurs, how easy is it to control one’s anger? Again, action speaks more than words. Good behavior is what God accepts as our apology for our past sins.

Causality appears to be the mechanism which God tests our faith. We reap what we sow. The appearance of adversity and suffering allows us the opportunity to apologize to God. If we confront adversity in a positive attitude, we have the ability to sow good seeds that will…

The Difficult Path

How do we remove evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) from our mind? In the Book of Prophecy (Fudesaki), it is said to be a difficult process.

This mind, prepare to clear it quickly.

Purify it by using a filter and sand. 3-10

This filter, what do you think it is.

The heart (soul) and the mouth are the sand and filter. 3-11

The identification and the location of the soul are not possible by our science of today. Yet in many of our sacred books, the heart or soul is said to be present in every human being; and serves to connect us with God. Some believe that heart or soul is considered to be composed of positive energy. The heart or soul is said to help us eliminate evil thoughts (greed, arrogance, and self love) from our minds. The soul attracts the negative energies created by our negative thoughts and releases these negative energies from our bodies. This analogy is similar to the sand that is used to attract the waste in our sewage system, extracting the water for recycling.

The evil thoughts created by our minds can be acted on, or can be resisted by our free will. In both scenarios, the negative energy of the evil thought will be attracted and absorbed by the soul. But if our evil thoughts are acted upon, the neural pathway of the creation of negative thoughts becomes easier. This will result in more negative thoughts when an appropriate stimulus appears, resulting in our souls covered with negative energy. If our minds resist taking action on these negative thoughts, the pathway become weaker. This will result eventually in the elimination of our minds creating negative thoughts, resulting in a pure mind.

The soul or heart can then be said to have a record of how we have used our minds. Like the DNA of our genes, these negative energies (dusts) have the information to affect our future. These dusts (negative energy) can be released from the soul into our bodies internally, creating illness like cancer, or they can be released externally, converting to other forms of energy; and eventually causing suffering (stimuli) in the form of accidents or even retribution from others. This boomerang suffering (stimuli), have the potential to create more negative thoughts. If we again act on these thoughts, the neural pathway to create these negative thoughts becomes easier. But if we continue to act positively upon the sufferings (stimuli) by using our free will, we have the potential of eventually eliminating these negative thoughts from our minds. By this process, the mind will eventually stop producing evil thoughts, and the soul will have eventually released all of the negative energy, resulting in the pure heart of the origin.

What happens to the soul when our physical bodies stop functioning (death)? Some believe that purification of the mind may take many life times (reincarnation). Our soul with its negative energies rises to heaven and eventually returns to continue the process of the purification of the mind. This process of purification is difficult because suffering and misfortune continue to occur even though we believe we have changed. Many of us want immediate gratification and forgiveness from God when we begin to believe; but what we sow we reap. This is why this is a long path of persistence to sweep away the evil in our minds, especially for those who have accumulated much negative energy on their souls.

How Do We Increase membership in our Churches

heaventruth's avatarOFUDESAKI-GOD'S TEACHINGS

If we were to take the words of the Book of Prophecy (Fudesaki) literally, one would think that God was giving the early followers of the religion the recipe to successful harvesting of crops. In 1838 God descended from Heaven and promised the villagers an abundance of crops. The following is the recipe that most farmers would be familiar with:

Planting seeds + water + weeding + fertilizer = crops

But God was not talking about crops. God was talking about how to spread God’s truth to the world. Crops refer to the number of people coming to our churches. God has given us a special prayer, which he refers to as the fertilizer. This prayer is called the Joyous Service.

First we must build a church, to spread God’s truth. This is like planting seeds for a harvest. Some will build large churches hoping to harvest a large…
