Pain is good for us. Can suffering also be good for us?

What is the purpose of pain? Everyone hopes to avoid pain, but pain helps us survive. Without the sensation of pain, our bodies can be damaged without our awareness of such danger. Pain tells us that something is wrong. In medicine, physicians are trained in determining where the pain is coming from, and prescribing medicine or treatment in repairing the source of pain. In the oral cavity, pain signals that something is wrong with our teeth or gums. Pain certainly is unwanted, but it is a necessity for our bodies to survive.

If pain has a beneficial purpose, can suffering also have beneficial properties for the soul? What or who causes suffering? Some say that God test us by giving us suffering like Job in the bible. Others say that suffering is God’s punishment for evil. The proponents of causality state that we cause our own sufferings by our thoughts and actions. These sufferings remind us that something is amiss with our minds. Causality is the process of purifying our minds. When we have good thoughts, we plant seeds of joy in the future. Causality besides explaining why we suffer, also explains why we have joy and health!

UNDERSTANDING CAUSALITY OPENS THE PATH TO JOY. CAUSALITY EXPLAINS WHY WE SUFFER OR HAVE JOY. NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE OUR CONDITIONS MAY APPEAR, WE CAN PLANT GOOD SEEDS NOW THAT WILL BLOSSOM INTO JOY.

God will begin to help the world understand causality. We have a special prayer  asking God to help others understand causality.

INTRODUCTION:

God created mankind to live a joyous life with everyone helping each other (the original causality).

The reason God began human beings was the desire to see you lead a joyous life.           (Tip of the Writing Brush 14-26)

OUR BELIEFS:

We believe in the Law of  causality. Good thoughts and actions result in joy.  Evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) thoughts and actions result in suffering and inconveniences in the future.

God will begin to shorten the time lapse between the cause and effect, making the relationship easier to understand. God has given us a  special prayer that will make this possible.

OUR MISSION:

To pray daily with our special prayer (Joyous Service), asking God to help  people realize the law of causality. When this happens. people will begin to eliminate evil (greed and arrogance) from their minds.

To eliminate greed, arrogance, and self-love from our minds, thus making our special prayer more receptive to God.

To tell the world what God is going to do when he accepts  our special prayer (shortens the time lapse between cause and effect, making this relationship easier to understand). Ponder over any illnesses. They may be God’s guidance in teaching you causality.

To heal the illnesses brought upon by God’s guidance by performing our healing prayer (Sazuke).

OUR GOAL:

To have all mankind understand causality; and to have all mankind live a joyous life by helping each other.

VERSE OF THE WEEK:

There can be no help for what you have done self-centeredly.

Why we suffer or have joy

No one knows why some have happy lives, and others suffer. Some say it is by chance; others say it is God’s will. Causality points the finger back to us. We determine our future by our actions and thoughts of today. In the Instructions is a verse:

You each need to awaken to your causality. But if you become fatalistic about what is happening, it will get you nowhere. Look at how causality is working in the world, and you will see the journey taken before. Nothing will be accepted except joyous acceptance. January 30, 1892 Instructions

When suffering occurs, we must not resign, or feel hopeless. This is not what the effect of causality is suppose to elicit. If we understand causality, we can joyously accept what is difficult to accept, and react in a way that will elicit joy in the future. Causality gives us all an opportunity to purify our minds and have happy lives.

Making Lemonade

The quote “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade” is a quote attributed to Christian anarchist writer Elbert Hubbard in 1915. We hear this often from counselors in teaching people to deal with the adversities in life. Adversity, suffering, and inconveniences are the lemons in our lives, while lemonade is the joy in our lives.

Believers of causality say that we create our own lemons. Life or God does not give us lemons. But causality gives us opportunities to create joy from these suffering. We always have the opportunity to make lemonade. Some will continue to collect lemons and suffer, while others will ponder over these sufferings (lemons), and eliminate evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) from their hearts. By this purification of the mind, they will be creating joy in the future. They will be using lemons to make lemonade.

In conclusion, until the world understands causality, there will be no shortage of lemons.

Good over evil

In the sacred books, it says that good always wins over evil. But why does evil sometimes appear to win? Could it be that the effects of our actions are not always immediate? There is suffering and joy in our lives. Could they be the result of our past actions?

In one of the sacred books (Instructions), it says:

Although merit is not immediately visible, the accounting is as dependable as if it were done on paper. Whatever is surplus I will return. Whatever is short, I will collect. The balance in each account is very clear.

Look at the suffering and joy in the world today, and you will see the journey taken before.

Something to Ponder about

Is it surprising that the majority of the world still believes in the religions that began thousands of years ago, when the world was considered flat, and antibiotics had not even been discovered? Why did God choose this time period to reveal the prophets and saviors that are said to have propagated the truth? Why do we not see and hear of these extraordinary prophets today?

Might God not have descended on a shepherd thousands of years ago, and revealed the earth not to be flat, but round. Might he not give him information about bacteria and prevention of infection, thus saving thousands of lives? Would this information have convinced the people of a powerful and good God? But, God is said to have taken sides, guaranteeing prosperity to the descendants of the chosen people, and punishing those who oppose them. Might this story be biased, and conceived by the human mind?

It is not surprising, that one hears stories of child molestation by the people who dedicate themselves to the church. It is not surprising that we hear of people that kill for their religion and God. The sacred books of the past are filled with stories of murder and lust. Yet we rely on these religious books to teach us about God and his teaching.

The question is, what do these sacred books teach us? Do they bring the world together, or do they divide us? Do they make our lives better, or do they just give us hope of an afterlife? But the most important question is, do they have the answer that will make life on earth good for everyone? Something to ponder about!

Where was God?

Recently, there was an incident of a car accident, where the survivor commented that God was definitely protecting her, and her family. But where was God in the countless other accidents that resulted in fatality? Where was God in the Nazi death camps, where was God at 9-11? What makes this lady so special as to get God’s protection?

Why did God not stop the terrorist that dreadful day in New York? Why does God not punish the murderers, the child molester, and the dirt bags of this world? Why do they continue to cause suffering in this world? Where was God to stop them?

We can say that God has no power to help us; we can say that God refuses to help us, or God does not exist. But suppose, what occurs in the world is a reflection of our minds, and God has no influence on the daily occurrence of our lives. Suppose heaven can wait, and we have many lifetimes on this earth and go through many rebirths. Suppose we determine our own destiny in future lives, by our actions of today. This is the law of causality. Causality gives us the opportunity to purify our minds, resulting in joy in the future.

But there are many who do not understand causality. They believe that their selfish acts have no consequences, and continue their selfish ways. But the laws of causality have no exception. What they sow, they will reap in the future. They will suffer in their next lives.

We must spread the truth of causality, so that only joy will blossom in the future. Heaven is a visionary, but suffering and joy exist today. Causality explains why we suffer or have joy. God has given us a process where we can all live a joyous life.

The Secret of Life

What are the secret of life, the truth of heaven, and the purpose of life? Or more important, why are we here on earth?   What answer would explain everything that occurs to us? Is it God or Satan? Is the answer causality?

It doesn’t matter who you are, your age, your wealth, your country, your occupation, etc. Causality has no favorites, and has no exceptions. You get what you deserve. We have control of our own happiness. It is not your parents, government, religious leaders, or even the all mighty God that determines what happens to you. It is yourself that determines your future. Good thoughts and behavior brings forth joy; evil thoughts and behaviors brings forth suffering in the future. There are no exemption or free passes from the law of causality. God has created a self-purifying system of the mind. Only when our minds our purified, will we have true happiness. Only the truth of causality will settle the world, bringing peace forever.

Causality is the truth of heaven. It is the secret of life.
