Tenrikyo

The following is from the Ofudesaki

Korekara wa Yoki-zutome ni mata kakaru

Nanno koto yara choto ni shiremai 3-60

The first translation below is the traditional translation by Tenrikyo Headquarters and the 2nd translation is word for word.

From now on, I shall resume My hastening for the

Joyous Service. This might not be easy to understand.

From now on, look forward to the Joyous Service being effective (January 26, 1887).

What is this? You may not understand (understand what the service does).

Again, there are two different meaning depending on if you read the traditional headquarters’ translation verses the word for word translation.

  • the Joyous Service performed with a pure mind will bring others to our places of worship on January 26, 1887 when Oyasama passes away.
