Tenrikyo

The following is from the Ofudesaki:

Imamade no ushi no sakimichi omote miyo

Kami taru tokoro mina ki o tsuke yo 4-18

The first translation below is the traditional translation by Tenrikyo Headquarters and the 2nd translation is word for word.

Remember what followed the epidemic of the cows in the past.

Let all of you in high places beware. 4-18

Think about the present concept of future paths to cows (soul entering animals due to evil in minds).

Those in high places (people that don’t know about the soul), you all beware. 4-18

Again, there are two different meaning depending on if you read the traditional headquarters’ translation verses the word for word translation.

*God is telling us that our souls may enter animals if we have too much evil in our minds.
