The last three verses of the Ofudesaki summarizes God’s instructions.
(sato sato ta oto)(ta oto byou sama)(byou sama) 1-73
Discern discern do respond, do respond illness appearance, illness appearance.
(kono hanashi)(aizu tateyai)(deta naraba)
(nani ni tsuitemo)(mina kono touri). 17-74
This talk, the signal establishing (by performing the Youki-tsutome), appeared if so,
by what one acquires(of guidance from God) also, all this truth (of what negative thoughts
in the mind).
(kore oba na)(ichiretsu kokoro)(shiyan tanomu de) 17-75
This God now, everyone the mind, ponder (of negative thoughts) of to request.
To summarize these three verses.
- Perform the Youki-tsutome with a pure mind.
- God places illness as guidance to the people we have spread the teachings to.
- God wants these people to discern (understand) God’s guidance.
- God wants them to respond to the illness of guidance by pondering their own mind for negative thoughts and not acting on their evil thoughts.
