God’s Litmus test

What is God’s litmus test for being on the right path to salvation? It is said that if we have anger, we do not know God’s teachings. Anger arises from arrogance. When we feel that we are better than others, then we are more prone to get angry at the behavior of others. This is especially true when their actions oppose our views.

Education, power, and riches do not make one better than others. These are but extrinsic materials that we collect and discard. The homeless person and the high paid executive officer are on the same level.   Nobility, race, religion, and gender do not make us better than others. They are but temporary dwellings. Males and females are on equal grounds. We are all God’s children.

It is with this knowledge that we must eliminate arrogance from our minds. When this happens, anger will not easily arise. Elimination of arrogance is one of the evils that we must sweep from our minds. If you have anger, you may not know God’s teachings.

Suppose

Suppose one can heal one’s own illnesses and disease. Suppose one can do this by eliminating greed, arrogance, and self love from one’s minds. Suppose there is a prayer that asks God to help us with this difficult task. Suppose we pray “Evil (greed and arrogance) sweeping,  save us please, Universal Saving God.” Suppose we continue to chant this request until we believe it from our innermost heart. Suppose all the world will live in peace and joy?  Suppose this prayer begins this process. Suppose this prayer represents the beginning of the world, the beginning of a joyous world?

CAUSALITY (KARMA, INNEN)

What revelation would make the world good? What would make the criminal change his or her behavior? What would make the dictator treat the people with compassion? What would make our politicians care about the people they represent? What would change the behavior of the rapist, and murderer?

It is the pleasure and selfish desires that they pursue. Would the concept and understanding of heaven change their thoughts of evil? Do they care about the concerns of others? Can they understand the concept of a God who cares about his children? The answer to these questions may be a no.

It is only fear that will change their behavior. Like a child, the maturation of their mind is limited. They only understand what may cause them discomfort. It is with this knowledge that the concept of causality may change their behavior. The law of causality states that good thoughts and behavior sets forth a future of joy, while evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) thoughts and behavior brings forth sufferings. But like the concept of heaven, the future may not be relevant as they pursue their selfish purposes today.

But suppose God begins to help us see this relationship between cause and effect? In the Tip of the Writing Brush, it is stated that God saw the suffering of human beings due to causality, and was saddened. To help us understand this concept of causality God began to hasten the relationship between cause and effect. We are able to see the effects of our behavior immediately. God places disorders on our bodies in relationship to how we are using our minds.  It is this illness that the criminal may fear that will prevent future malfeasance.

As the criminal matures, the illness that was once feared begins to be understood as God’s guidance. They will be able to understand the principle of Causality as a process of purifying their minds. When this happens, the illness will disappear. The sweeping of their evils plants a seed of joy that will sprout in the future (causality).

Spread the message of causality. Tell people that their illness may be a result of their actions and thoughts. Some may change their behavior due to fear, while others may change because they understand causality. Nonetheless, this will be the beginning to a joyous world of people helping each other.

Causality as the truth of Heaven

Most religions try to explain why we suffer in spite of our dedication to our religion. We bring on anecdotes and parables of the past in trying to convince the congregation. We try to incorporate some reasoning in order to incorporate faith. Attaining faith becomes the goal of religion. Faith is a very powerful engine.  It is faith that sometimes encourages us to overcome difficult situations; it is faith that may also drive us off a cliff.

Many evangelists play on the audience. Like the salesman trying to make a sale, he or she must get the person’s trust or faith. They expel what the audience wants to hear. Salvation, heaven, meeting love ones, and joy are words that are common in their sermons. They paint a picture of a great future after death; but ignore the present sufferings or joys of the world.

It is with this dilemma that the world waits for a religion that can explain the events of this lifetime. A religion that may teach the truth that will bring peace and joy to the world. The truth of Heaven may be the law of Causality. Ponder causality as the Truth of Heaven?

All mankind is good

Each individual is a good person. It is only because one has evil (greed and arrogance)thoughts that one appears to be bad.  In the Tip of the Writing Brush (Ofudesaki) is the following:

Among all mankind, there is no one who is evil. It is only a bit of dust stuck on. 1-53.

This is why it is important to pray for those who have evil in their minds. We ask God to help these essentially good people to eliminate greed, arrogance, and self love from their hearts. We do not wish malice or ill will on our brothers and sisters.

Also in the Tip of the Writing Brush, it is stated that this Universe is the body of God. If this is true, we are part of God. God is Good, so as part of God, we are good. Let us hope that the world realizes that all human beings are essentially good.  We must pray that all mankind will eliminate evil from their hearts!

Everyone is a child of God

What is the difference between a terrorist and a religious person? There may be a fine line. Some people believe that they are serving God by propagating their religion, and suppressing others that have different view. In many parts of the world, religious people are killing others in the name of God. They truly believe that they are representing God by their actions. They believe that they are Good, and will be rewarded by a loving God. In reality, they are good people that are on the wrong path.

In the Tip of the Writing Brush, it is said that there is no one who is essentially evil. Everyone is a child of God. It is only because these dusts of evil have permeated their minds. These dust are greed, arrogance, and self-love. It is only when we remove these evils from our minds that we can we open a path to a joyous future.

In the Tip of the Writing Brush, it is stated that God will save everyone, even the arrogant religious fanatic who terrorize the world today. When they realize that their actions and thoughts create their own sufferings, they will begin to eliminate evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) from their minds.

Everyone is a child of God. God does not want his children to suffer. We must not hate those who try to hurt us; we should pray for them. We must pray that they realize that they are causing their own sufferings. We must pray that they eliminate greed, arrogance, and self love from their minds. When this happen, the world will be joyous, with everyone helping each other.

Christians for Causality

Most Christians do not believe in Causality (karma, Innen). But in the Bible, there are the following quotes that may advocate a belief in this concept:

What goes around comes around

Reap what one sows.

Violence begets violence.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

With an open mind, please read the previous blog submitted today.

Everlasting Joy by understanding causality

Why do we suffer? Suffering does not discriminate. Rich people, poor people, religious people, nonreligious people, good people, evil people, famous people, and powerful people all suffer. The suffering of a child is very difficult to bear. Ever since the beginning of mankind, man has wondered why one suffers. In the Bible, the righteous man Job even questioned God on why he suffered when he was a good man.

Does suffering have a purpose? Is there a cause relationship of suffering? Some would say that suffering is a result of our past sins.  It is our punishment for our evil thoughts and behavior.  But what about the innocent child who suffers? Some believe in past lives as an explanation of why a child suffers. Others believe that suffering or joy is the result of chance, like a roulette wheel.

But does suffering have to be explained as a punishment?  Maybe like the recycling of oxygen and carbon dioxide to maintain life on earth, it is part of a natural process of life.  Good thoughts and behavior results in joy, and evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) thoughts and behavior result in suffering. God may have nothing to do with our suffering or joy. God is said to be a concerned spectator.  We as individuals sow what we plant. The individual controls his or her own destiny by his or her actions and thoughts. By understanding this concept of causality, one has the ability to change his or her future.

What parent would want their child to suffer? It is the same with God. God does not want his children to suffer. Until now  God was only able to look on as human beings treated each other with disdain and disrespect. In the Tip of the Writing Brush, it is said that God will begin to help us realize the concept of causality.  We only need to pray to God to help the world realize this truth of heaven. When the world understands causality, the world will settle. There will be everlasting peace and joy with everyone helping each other.
