The laws of Thermodynamics revisited

The laws of Thermodynamics revisited

From a ripen apple that falls from a tree, to the energy transferred from our arms to the ball we toss, everything follows the law of nature. Only in our dreams and in Hollywood do these laws ever change. Remember when Charlton Heston parted the Red Sea, a magnificent scenario on film, but may not be probable in real life?

Why do tragedies occur in the world? Suppose we can explain the unexplainable by these laws of nature. The law of thermodynamics states that energy is not created nor destroyed; it can only be transferred from one form to another. Our thought processes of neurons and synapse uses energy, often transferring energy from one location to another, and from one energy source to another. Our thoughts occur because of the transmission of these energies. Let us propose that different thoughts generate different degrees of energy. Evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) thoughts generate much more energy than other thoughts.  Where do these energies eventually go?  Like the anger that builds within us, where does it go? These energies may transfer to other areas of the body releasing chemical energy. These chemical energies may harm our bodies causing stress, headache or disease.  Or possibly, these energies may create an environment conducive for cancerous growth?

Suppose these excess energies in our minds are also released in the form of entropy (wasted energy) to the environment (the body of God). If greed, arrogance, and self-love become widespread, the environment (body of God) may become saturated with this excess energy.  Eventually, to maintain equilibrium to the environment (body of God), these excess energies are released.  The second law of Thermodynamics states that disorder or randomness is the rule. These energies are released randomly and cause disorder. Consider the hurricanes, typhoons and earthquakes that occur yearly. Could the transfer of our excess energies to the atmosphere cause them?  These excess energies are harnessed into physical energies and may possibly explain the natural disasters that occur. As much as we hope that God has control of everything, God may be helpless to act.

As an apple drops to the ground due to the law of gravity, so will catastrophes occur as long as the mankind succumbs to greed, arrogance and self-love. We need to eliminate these evils from our minds so that these catastrophes will become less frequent, leading to a joyous world for all mankind.

The laws of Thermodynamics

The laws of Thermodynamics

From a ripen apple that falls from a tree, to the energy transferred from our arms to the ball we toss, everything follows the law of nature. Only in our dreams and in Hollywood do these laws ever change. Remember when Charlton Heston parted the Red Sea, a magnificent scenario on film, but may not be probable in real life?

Suppose we can explain the unexplainable by these laws of nature. The law of thermodynamics states that energy is not created nor destroyed; it can only be transferred from one form to another. Our thought processes of neurons and synapse uses these forms of energy, often transferring energy from one location to another, and from one source to another. Suppose we can explain the unexplainable in our lives by the laws of thermodynamics! Suppose our thoughts are forms of energy, some attaining more energy then others. Let us propose that thoughts of evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) accumulate negative energies in our minds. These energies may transfer to other areas of the body releasing chemical energy, causing stress, headaches and disease.

Suppose these negative energies in our minds are also released in the form of entropy (wasted energy) to the environment (the body of God). If greed, arrogance, and self-love become widespread, the environment (God) may become saturated with this negative energy.  Eventually, to maintain equilibrium to the environment (body of God), these negative energies will have to be released.  The second law of Thermodynamics states that disorder or randomness is the rule. These energies are released randomly and cause disorder. Consider the hurricanes, typhoons and earthquakes that occur yearly. Could the transfer of our negative energies to the atmosphere cause them?  These negative energies are harnessed into physical energies and may possibly explain the natural disasters, or the senseless killings of children that recently occurred. As much as we hope that God has control of everything, God may be helpless to act.

As an apple drops to the ground due to the law of gravity, so will catastrophes occur as long as the mankind succumbs to greed, arrogance and self-love. We need to change these negative energies to positive energies so that these catastrophes will become less frequent, leading to a joyous world for all mankind.

The Path

THE PATH

PATH TO WORLD SALVATION

path123

  1. Making the world aware that God may start to guide us by illness and disorders on our bodies. The healing service also used to open minds to God’s guidance. *1
  2. The mind now becomes open to understanding and has an awareness of a new teaching, especially on God’s guidance.
  3. Praying to God to sweep away the evils (arrogance, greed, and self love) from our minds. *2
  4. God answers the prayers by placing disorders and illness on our bodies appropriate to how we are using our minds.
  5. Pondering of the illness and disorders on our bodies in relationship to the evils in our minds.
  6. The mind accepts the relationship between evil and God’s guidance. The mind begins the process of sweeping the evils. Illness and disorders begin to disappear from our body. Our future becomes promising.
  7. The origin, our prayer and the sacred book is sprinkled on the mind.
  8. The mind continues to sweep evil from our mind, but believes in the “Origin” that all mankind was created to live a joyous life. True sincerity is gained at this stage.

*1 Kokan was the first to spread the teachings.

*2 Only in the spirited stage will our prayers (Joyous Service) be answered

Our Future

Our Future

Do you wonder what your future looks like?  God may be trying to show you your future. That illness that just occurred, the headache, and the irritation of the bowel may be God’s guidance?

This time, I shall make your future known in this life.

Look at the disorder of your body.  5-2

God is said to distinguish our minds, and places illness and disorders on our bodies. When we ponder about our mistaken minds (greed, arrogance and self love), and remove these evils from our minds, our behaviors will improve. This improvement now in our behavior will bring us joy in the future (causality, karma, innen etc.) Another verse supporting God’s guidance:

If you have borrowed something from another, you will need

to pay interest. Return it quickly with a word of thanks.  3-28

My interpretation is that when God gives you guidance (illness or disorders of the body), thank God for the guidance; return the illness back to God by pondering over the illness, and removing the evils (greed, arrogance and self love) from the mind.  Pay interest by telling people about God’s guidance.

God Loves us, and continues to work to establish the joyous world. When illness or disorders occurs, please consider the possibility that it may be God’s light leading you to a joyous life.

How to get the most bang out of our prayer

How to get the most bang out of our prayer

Have you ever wondered how to make your prayers effective? Does praying with more people make the prayer more effective? How about a little donation to go along with the prayer?  How about if we promise to do something in exchange for the prayer? Does the place of prayer make any difference? Is praying at a church more effective than your prayer in your bedroom?   Are silent prayers more effective than vocalized prayers?  What about our physical stance? Should we kneel, should we place our hand together during prayer? Should we pray to a location? Unfortunately there are no studies that will show us how to pray or what makes prayers effective. In one of our verses of our sacred book, there is a quote:

If you are a mind to save others single-heartedly,

I shall firmly accept you, even if you say nothing.  3-32

If we are to believe that God sees everything, and is able to monitor our mind, the purpose of prayer may not be to communicate with God. Then what is the purpose of prayer?  Prayer makes us feel good. It gives us an outlet to get rid of our stress and worries. It also reinforces our belief in a loving God. Prayer reinforces our beliefs. In our religion, we pray to God to help us eliminate greed, arrogance and self-love from our minds. By the process of prayer, it gives us reinforcement to sweep these evils from our minds ourselves. Our prayer provides a conduit to spreading our teachings. The type of prayer also distinguishes religions from others.

So the next time you pray, pray not for yourselves, but pray for a joyous world. God wants a mind that cares for others. It is this mind that will reach heaven without saying a single word.

Is Faith More Important Than Medicine?

Is faith more important than medicine?

When illness or disease develops, many rely on doctors and medicine for a cure; others rely on their faith.  What do we do?

Future illness in our religion is caused by God’s guidance. Is God trying to show us our future by placing these illness or disorders on our bodies? When we reflect on our illness and remove the evils (greed, arrogance and self love) from our minds, these disorders are returned to God. Without these evils in our minds, our future will be joyous (law of causality). Let us look at a couple of verses:

Though there should be nothing called illness in human beings, there is no one who knows this. Verse 9-10

Because of my desire to have you know this, Little by little, I began doctors and medicine for weeding and fertilizing. Verse 9-11.

Weed refers to the evils in our minds (greed, arrogance, and self love). Weeding is a process of removing these evils from our mind. Weeding may also refer to our special prayer (joyous service) of asking God to remove these evils from our hearts. Fertilizing refers to the process of placing true sincerity in our hearts. With the attainment of true sincerity, we believe that all mankind was created by God to live a joyous life. By this process of both weeding and fertilizing, God will help sweep evil from our minds. With the elimination of evil, illness will disappear, and the world will become joyous. This is the process of using faith in curing illness.

Did God  create doctors and medicine to cure illness?  Doctors remove the causes (weed) of illness by utilizing medicine (fertilizer) to remove illness from our bodies.  Instead of prayer, doctors and medicine are used to eliminate illness and disorders from our bodies. But the question arises, should we put more faith in doctors or in our prayers? The answer appears in verse 9-11 that God has created doctors and medicine to enhance our faith that illness and disorders should not exist. The advancement of medicine is dependent on our spiritual advancement, and the knowledge that all mankind was created by God to live a joyous life.  Yes, both prayer and medicine are important. Both were created by God to help sweep the evils in our hearts! Remove greed, arrogance, and self love from your hearts!

The Rose

The Rose

Sometimes on a sunny day, we marvel at the beauty of the bright red rose, standing alone against the bare green leaves and contrasting blue sky.  But the development of this natural beauty did not happen over night. It took time, nutrients, and care from its owner.

In our religion, we sometimes compare the development of our prosperous future, with the development of a seed into a complete healthy plant. The seed requires nutrients in the form of the fertilizer, and needs weeding to continue its growth.  True sincerity (leaning on God) is analogous to the fertilizer. We need to believe that all mankind was created to live a joyous life.  The process of eliminating the evils (greed, arrogance, and self love) from our minds is analogous with the weeding process in the growth of the plant. The rose does not develop over night; it takes time! It is the same with our joyous future.

In summary, true sincerity and the removal of the evils from our minds will lead to a joyous life. In the rose, the beauty multiplies as more roses develop. It is the same with the mind, the more that become pure, the more joyous life will become on this earth.  Happy Holidays!

What is evil?

What is evil?

With the recent tragedy in Connecticut, there are a few questions that some of us may be thinking.  Where was God?

First, let us try to define evil.  Some define evil as Satan or the devil. This may comfort some who want explanations to explain the senseless tragedies in the world, and why God was helpless to act. Many religions including the Christian religions believe in this concept of evil.

But maybe evil is like a negative energy that comes from our minds, and God has no control over. Just like gravity, if you throw an object up, it will definitely come down.  Maybe this negative energy from our minds accumulates and needs to be released. Possibly it is released randomly, as tragedies or natural disasters.  Or some may believe in causality (not random), as cause and effect.  But in both cases suffering occurs.

Maybe like a balloon that burst if more air were placed, evil energy needs to be released in the form of disasters. Maybe the evils in our minds (greed, arrogance, and self love) accumulate daily and needs to be released?  This release occurs randomly and like the law of gravity, devoid of God’s actions. What would occur if the evils in our hearts decrease? Would disasters in the world also decrease?

In our religion we believe that evils (greed, arrogance, and self love) cause the sufferings in the world. If we can think of these evils as negative energy that has to be dissipated, then we can place these tragedies as consequences due to the world’s frame of mind. We can also envision the sorrow that God experiences when these tragedies occur.

To alleviate the world’s sufferings, God has given us a prayer, to sweep the evils (greed, arrogance, and self love) from our hearts.  With God’s guidance, the evils in our minds dissipate, and the sufferings in the world will finally subside.

Why is it more difficult for a rich person to get into heaven?

Why is it more difficult for a rich person to get into heaven?

In many religions, there are references to the difficulties of the wealthy obtaining God’s truth.  In the Christian religion, it was the evil pharaohs and kings that opposed the Christian religion, while in our religion, the high places or high mountains opposed our new religion.  Why is it more difficult for the rich to obtain religion?

The rich of course have money. Money replaces the dependency of God. Money can buy insurance against disasters, like car, health, and home insurance. Money can buy security, like personal security guards and home security systems. Luxury cars have many safety features not common in the standard automobile.  Having money reduces our stress concerning future events like college for the children, or cost of vacations, etc.  Money also reduces our dependency on other human beings.  We can isolate ourselves from each other when we have money. Some say that money gives us the ability to experience heaven on earth. Money, wealth, and power is sometimes confused with happiness. Many people try to gain happiness by seeking wealth and power.

Let us consider the poor. They usually cannot afford the high cost insurance that protects them from unexpected catastrophes. They cannot isolate themselves from others like the rich. They like the rich think that money and power may lead to their happiness. They may complain about the rich, but many try to emulate and envy them. Because of this mentality, they are susceptible to religions and governments that may take advantage of their predicaments.  Religions promise a better future for these people.  Religions that promise extravagant riches and rewards in the afterlife may appeal to the most poor. On the negative side, some may even accept these religions and disregard their present conditions. Faith whether authentic or false, becomes their insurance against calamity and suffering.

In both the rich and poor, it is the perception of happiness that causes the alienation or proclivity toward religion. Being rich is not a sin, as being poor is not a sin.  Only when we realize that wealth and power is not the purpose of life, will we all able to lean and rely truly on God for our happiness.  The poor may be more receptive to religion, but both rich and poor do not understand the purpose of life.  The purpose is not to gain wealth or power. The purpose is to have joy. This is only possible when all mankind live a joyous life.
